True Society in Sydney is our third store in Australia. The new store exudes an elevated, urban chic vibe and provides a stunning stage for showcasing our breathtaking designer wedding dresses.  True Society is THE destination for transforming dress dreams into the most amazing reality, and we are looking for career-minded retail professionals (our True Crew!) who are passionate about fashion, sales and bridal. 

 

The Role 

The Bridal Store Concierge is often the first point of contact when a bride visits the store and helps deliver the True Society bridal experience from the minute a bride walks in the door. This front desk position will greet guests and provide premier hospitality while also helping to support bridal appointments by scheduling, fitting room set-up and being willing to jump in whenever needed. In addition, the Concierge will assist in operational tasks from time to time such as gown prep, physical inventory, store merchandising and event support. 

Responsibilities

Your Tasks 

  • Provide initial reception to all incoming customers both in person and via telephone, creating a welcoming and supportive atmosphere for all guests and callers. 

  • Assist in creating and managing appointments, completing sales, and receiving payments. 

  • Prep dresses for customer pick up to include steaming and packaging 

  • Clear fitting rooms, put away gowns, and pull gowns as needed to support ongoing appointments. 

  • Maintain high level of store standards by maintaining a clean and well-organized store. 

  • Exhibit a professional attitude and provide exceptional customer service to all customers based on company standards. 

  • Participate and assist with organizing in-store events, bridal fairs, and promotions. 

  • Represent the store and the designer labels we sell in a professional and consultative manner. 

Qualifications

Your Profile 

  • Secondary Education Certification (completion of 12th grade) or equivalent is required. 

  • 1-2 years prior retail sales or other service-related experience required in a fast paced and customer focused environment. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, both professional and friendly 

  • Ability to build relationships with customers, and solve problems quickly and efficiently 

  • Develop strong product knowledge for the industry as well as trends 

  • Physical ability to move throughout the store, lift and move up to 12 kg., kneel, stand and work on feet most of the time. 

  • Ability to work 1 to 3 non-peak days (Tuesday through Friday) and weekends, Saturday and Sunday. 

  • Detail oriented with a key sense of fashion and bridal fashion 

  • Pleasant demeanor and patient attitude 

  • Maintain a fashion forward and professional appearance at all times 

  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to self-manage working effectively to a deadline 

  • Be a team player with a strong work ethic and the ability to multitask 

  • Ability to adapt to change in an ever-growing, fast-paced environment
